Osprey Fledglings Count 2019
Respectfully submitted for the HLF Museum, Ken Edwards, Sr.
15 Fledglings on 17 sites
The same 17 sites had 34 fledglings last year. 7 others sites were checked, all had birds seen at sites and some nest building but not fledglings.
The site at Four Corners (Bagley Reid’s) was moved from the power line pole to the deMenil property, 100 feet to the south of the original pole, by the Fishers Island Electric Co. with most of the original nest, birds came back but did not raise any young.
Thanks to Andrew Edwards and his drone for helping with the count.
