APRIL 2 ~ After a night near Tobaccolot Pond on Gardiners Island, Edwin made a loop to Long Island and back in the morning. While on Long Island, he visited the Springs East Harbor area and Napeague Bay, then returned to Gardiners Island mid-morning. Back on Gardiners, he briefly visited Great Pond to the south, Home Pond mid-island, Cherry Hill Pond to the west and Bostwick Creek to the north, returning mid-island in-between. Mid afternoon, he headed north off-island to return to Connecticut.
Back on the mainland, Edwin visited the Connecticut River from the Old Lyme shoreline to Lords Cover, then followed Eight Mile River and other waterways northeast to Montville and reached Oxoboxo Lake around nightfall.

APRIL 3 ~ Edwin spent the early morning between Oxoboxo Lake and nearby Gardner Lake, then headed southwest to the Connecticut River. He briefly visited Lords Cove, then continued to shoreline and the confluence with Black River. He spent the afternoon in Old Lyme and made a loop between the shoreline and waterways as far east as Armstrong Brook, Rogers Lake to the north, and the Lieutenant River on his way back to the shoreline area. In the evening, it appears that Edwin may have returned north but the data did not come through so it is uncertain where he spent the night.
