Sept 21: Migration Day 2 ~ After a night along La Trappe Creek, east of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, Charlie resumed his migration south early in the morning. By early afternoon, he was just north Richmond Virginia, and continued southwest to the James River, and settled along a nearby highway (route 711) for the night.

Sept 22: Migration Day 3 ~ Early in the morning, Charlie resumed his migration south, and crossed the border into North Carolina around noon. By late afternoon, he had crossed into South Carolina and reached Williamsburg County on the east end of the state. By evening, he settled along Home Swamp, East of Kingstree, for the night.
