Charlie Tracking July 4
July 4 ~ Early in the morning, Charlie visited Hay Harbor and the southern shoreline, then headed north off-island to the Groton mainland near Baker Cove. He returned to the nest by mid-morning and remained nearby through the early afternoon.
Mid-day, Charlie visited Hay Harbor then headed off-island again. He visited the mouth of the Thames River, then headed inland briefly before returning to the nest on Fishers Island.
Charlie spent the rest of the afternoon and evening on the west end visiting the western shoreline, Hay Harbor and the southern shoreline. He returned to the nest by nightfall.

Charlie Tracking July 5
July 5 ~ Early in the morning, Charlie visited the southern shoreline, then headed to the Thames River and returned to the island west end. He visited the southwestern shoreline and made a loop out over open water to the south, then returned to the nest through noon.
After noon, Charlie visited Hay Harbor and the western and southern shorelines, then headed off-island to the Groton mainland. He visited the Poquonnock River, then headed to the Thames River near the Gold Star Bridge. He followed the river north and reached Bartlett Cove on the New London/Montville border. He then returned to the Gold Star Bridge area and made a couple of loops before heading inland to a pole along the Clarence B. Sharp Highway. After a break, he returned to Fishers Island and was at the nest by early evening.
Charlie spent some time at the nest in the early evening, then made a trip around the west end, visiting Silver Eel Cove, Hay Harbor and the southern shoreline, then headed to trees on Beach Ave for the night.

Charlie Tracking July 6
July 6 ~ Early in the morning, Charlie visited the southern shoreline and headed to the nest area. He then spent the rest of the morning making trips to Silver Eel Cove, the western tip and the southern shoreline, taking breaks in-between.
After noon, Charlie visited Silver Eel Cove and the western tip of the island again, then headed off-island to the Thames River. He reached the mouth of the Thames, then took a break on the New London mainland and continued west to Alewife Cove. He retuned to the nest on-island mid-afternoon and remained until early evening.
In the evening, Charlie visited shorelines east and west of the nest, then headed to trees near Hay Harbor by nightfall. Before midnight, he returned to the nest area.
