June 21 ~ After a night in the trees on Beach Ave, Charlie visited Hay Harbor early in the morning, then the nest at the west end transfer station. He then remained near the nest past noon.
In the early afternoon, Charlie visited Hay Harbor and Silver Eel Cove, then headed off-island, north to Mumford Cove in Groton. He continued in-land to the Poquonnock River and a small pond near Groton Airport, then headed to the Thames River. After a couple loops north of the Gold Star Bridge, Charlie returned to Fishers Island, visiting the western and southern shorelines early in the evening, before reaching the nest area. He made a final trip to the southern shoreline and returned to the nest, then retired to the trees on Beach Ave for the night.

June 22 ~ A DAY ON-ISLAND: From early to mid-morning, Charlie made multiple trips to the surrounding shorelines of the west end and visited the nest in-between. He then spent the late morning near the nest.
In the afternoon and early evening, Charlie revisited the surrounding shorelines and returned to the nest in-between trips. He then spent the night near the nest.

June 23 ~ Early in the morning, Charlie briefly visited Hay Harbor, the western shoreline, and the Groton mainland, and returned to the nest on-island.
Mid-morning, Charlie briefly headed to the east end, then made a second trip to the mainland. He reached Groton Long Point, then continued to Mumford Cove, the Poquonnock River, a pond at the Groton Airport, and Baker Cove before stopping for a quick break (at the same residential rooftop he visited earlier in the morning). He then continued west and made multiple loops along the mouth of the Thames River before returning to Fishers Island early in the afternoon. He visited the western shoreline on his way back to the nest.
Charlie spent the rest of the afternoon near the nest, then “zig-zagged” between Hay Harbor and the western and southern shorelines early in the evening, before heading to Hay Harbor for the night.
