Mid morning, he hunted for food around the west end from the southern shoreline, to Hay Harbor and Silver Eel Cove and returned to the nest in-between. In the early afternoon, Charlie made another brief trip to Groton, this time from Baker Cove to the Thames River (near the Gold Star Bridge), then returned to Fishers Island by way of West Harbor mid-island and returned to the nest area for the rest of the day and night.

Before noon, Charlie made another trip to the mainland. His loop began with Baker Cove in Groton, then he continued north to the Thames River near the Gold Star Bridge, and then crossed west to Latimer Brook and the Niantic River in East Lyme, and finally to Keeny Cove and Jordan Cove in Waterford before returning to the nest on-island mid afternoon. In the late afternoon and early evening he hunted all around the west end and visited the nest before heading to Hay Harbor for the night.
