May 6 ~ Charlie spent most of the day near the nest at the west end transfer station and hunting for food off the nearby southern shoreline. One exception, was a brief mid morning trip to the mouth of the Thames River and back. In the early evening, he made a second trip to the mainland, then spent the rest of the night near the nest on Fishers Island.

Mid morning, Charlie made a trip to the Thames River and Baker Cove in Groton, then returned to spend the afternoon between the nest and the southern shoreline. In the early evening he made another trip to Baker Cove and the Thames River, then returned to the island to spend the night between the nest and Hay Harbor.

May 8 ~ Charlie spent the early morning between the nest and Hay Harbor, then mad a trip to the mainland to hunt for food along Fenger Brook, just north of Alewife Cove in Waterford. He returned to the west end of Fishers Island and spent the rest of the morning between the nest and Hay Harbor.

In the early afternoon, Charlie remained mostly near the nest and nearby shoreline. In the early evening, he hunted along the southern shoreline and returned to the nest again, then headed to Hay Harbor for the night.
