May 4 ~ Charlie spent the early morning near the nest at the transfer station, with one brief trip to Jordan Cove in Waterford and back. He spent the late morning and early afternoon back on Fishers Island visiting the nest and hunting for food around the west end.

He then made a second trip to the mainland, this time to the Thames River and Baker Cove area of Groton, then returned to the nest. He remained nearby for the rest of the afternoon and early evening, hunting for food off the southern shoreline. In the evening, Charlie moved to the Hay Harbor area, but before midnight was back at the nest.

May 5 ~ Charlie spent the early morning near the nest with brief trips to Silver Eel Cove, Hay Harbor and the Thames River. He then spent the late morning and early afternoon mostly between the nest and Hay Harbor.
