On Edwin’s 23rd day of migration, he flew from New Jersey, through Yonkers/White Plains areas of New York, to reach Connecticut by mid day. He made a brief stop at Beaver Ponds Park/Bowen Field in New Haven from 3-4 pm, and then continued east to reach the Connecticut River by early evening. His data stream ended before it could be determined if he returned to the Hamburg Cove area of the river or continued further east to the Niantic River area – both of which were areas he spent a number of nights last year.
