April 8 ~ From Fishers Island to Miller Pond: Charlie spent the predawn hours near Hay Harbor on the west end of Fishers Island, then briefly headed to the nest at the Transfer Station before heading off-island to Baker Cove in Groton. He returned to the nest by 8:30 a.m. and stayed mostly in the area through noon, and hunted for food along the southern shore. In the early afternoon, he made another trip to Groton, this time continuing north, and crossed the Thames River near the Fishers Island Ferry. He continued west and spent the late afternoon at Latimer Brook in East Lyme. In the early evening, Charlie headed further north and spent the night at Miller Pond in Waterford.

April 9 ~ From Miller Pond to Fishers Island: After a night on Miller Pond in Waterford, Charlie headed to Latimer Brook in East Lyme, then Keeny Cove on the eastern side of the Niantic River in Waterford, and continued southeast to reach Fishers Island by 10 a.m. He spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon, mostly near the nest, and hunted for food along the southern shore. In the late afternoon he headed back to the mainland and followed Baker Cove to Groton Reservoir, then headed west across the Thames back to Latimer Brook. In the evening Charlie made a brief stop at Jordan Cove in Waterford, on his way back to Fishers Island for the night. By 8 p.m. he was just north of the nest at the Transfer Station.

April 10 ~ From Fishers Island to Goshen Cove: After a night on Fishers Island, Charlie headed back to the mainland. He stopped briefly at Groton Reservoir before crossing the Thames River to spend the day at Latimer Brook in East Lyme. In the evening, Charlie headed to an upper section of Goshen Cove in Waterford for the night.
