April 14 ~ After a night at Goshen Cove in Waterford, Charlie briefly stopped by the nest on Fishers Island early in the morning, but then headed right back to the mainland to hunt for food at Latimer Brook in East Lyme. By 9 a.m., he was back on island, visiting the nest at west end transfer station and spent the rest of the morning and most of the afternoon hunting for food and returning to the nest.

Late in the afternoon, he made a brief trip to Orient Point and circled back to the nest, then returned to Latimer Brook on the mainland for the early evening. By 8 p.m. Charlie was back near the nest on Fishers Island for the night.

April 15 ~ Charlie spent the early dawn hours near the nest at the Transfer Station, then made a brief trip to the mainland to Latimer Brook in East Lyme. He spent the rest of the morning back on Fishers Island hunting for food around the west end and visiting the nest.

April 16 ~ Charlie spent the early dawn hours hunting for food at Silver Eel Cove and visiting the nest. He then made a trip to the mainland to visit Baker Cove in Groton and crossed the Thames River. He took a couple of quick breaks among trees in a residential area of New London, and returned to Fishers Island by late morning.

Charlie spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon on the west end hunting for food and visiting the nest with a couple of trips to east end ponds and Chocomount Cove. In the mid afternoon Charlie made a second trip to the mainland, this time by way of Groton Long Point and Palmer Cove. He then headed west across the Thames to Latimer Brook in East Lyme, but was back on Fishers Island just after 5 p.m. He remained near the nest for the rest of the evening.
