April 11: Early in the morning, after a night at Goshen Cove in Waterford, CT, Charlie headed northwest to Latimer Brook and Smith Cove along the Niantic River. He then headed to Fishers Island and spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon on the west end. While on the island, Charlie visited the nest at the Transfer Station a couple of times.

In the late afternoon he headed off Island first to Baker Cove in Groton, then west across the Thames to return to Latimer Brook in East Lyme. He then made a loop to the south visiting Smith Cove, Clark Pond, Dodge Pond, and Gorton Pond and returned to Latimer Brook. Charlie headed back to Fishers Island in the early evening and spent the night on Beach Ave.

April 12: Early in the morning, after a night on Beach Ave, Charlie hunted for food along the southern shoreline and visited the nest at the Transfer Station. He then headed off island to Baker Cove in Groton, then crossed the Thames River to Jordan Cove in Waterford, then Smith Cove and Latimer Brook in East Lyme. By noon, Charlie returned to the nest on Fishers Island. He spent most of the afternoon hunting for food along the southern shoreline and Hay Harbor and returned to the nest in-between.

In the late afternoon, he made a second trip off-island to Jordan Cove and Latimer Brook and returned to the nest at the west end Transfer Station in the early evening. After visiting the nest for about an hour, Charlie headed to some trees near Hay Harbor for the night.

April 13: After a night near Hay Harbor, Charlie visited the nest at the Transfer Station early in the morning. He then hunted for food along the southern shoreline and briefly off-island at Baker Cove in Groton. He returned to the nest on Fishers Island and spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon hunting for food around the west end and visiting the nest in-between. Mid afternoon, he headed off-island, first to Jordan Cove in Waterford, then to Latimer Brook in East Lyme. He spent the rest of the afternoon and early evening at Latimer Brook with one trip to nearby Keeny Cove. In the evening Charlie headed southeast to an upper section of Goshen Cove in Waterford for the night.
