Edwin began migrating north from South America around March 11 but then went “dark” (out of cell range) around March 15 as he started across the Caribbean. His data is now being received again and it appears that he reached Haiti early in the morning (March 16), then by noon continued further north towards Cuba and reached Santiago de Cuba that evening. (March 17) he headed west to Granma, Cuba and then stayed near the northern border until March 21. (March 22), he resumed his migration and headed northwest to Villa Clara, and then on (March 23) spent his last night in Cuba in Matanzas. (March 24) Edwin reached the Florida Keys!
