March 15: After briefly heading north from central South America in early February, Edwin returned partway south to Rio Guaviare along the southern border of Vichada, from February 19 to March 11. On March 11, he began his migration north and headed to Rio Elvita around 5 pm for the night. On March 12 he continued north to Arauca, Colombia for the night. Then on March 13, he continued further north to El Tocuyo (a valley East of Lake Maracaibo in Lara, Venezuela). On the following morning, March 14, he continued to Falcon, Venezuela along the northern coast of South America, where he spent the night. He has a long open water trip ahead of him.
