7/26/14 Edwin spends the early dawn hours at Powers Lake in East Lyme, then heads southeast to reach Smith Cove on the Niantic River around 7:45 a.m., then continues east to nearby Millstone and Jordan Cove and circles back to Smith Cove around 9:45 a.m. He then heads southwest towards Blackpoint and the shoreline, then continues west to reach the Connecticut River and spends from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. between Marvin Island and Great Island. In the afternoon, he heads north along the river and spends from 1 – 5 p.m. just below Hamburg Cove, then continues north and is back at Hamburg Cove around 6 p.m. for the night after spending a night away.
