8/22/14 – MIGRATION DAY 5: Edwin spends the early dawn hours among the Sea Islands in Beaufort County South Carolina, then around 10 a.m. continues his migration south. He crosses the border into Savannah, Georgia by 11:30 a.m. and continues south along the coast to the reach the border of Florida by 4 p.m. He continues south and reaches Middleburg, Florida around 6 p.m., but then his data is lost for the rest of the night. It is unclear if he remains along a stream in the area of Jennings State Forest or continues further south.

UPDATE: Data was picked up later that showed Edwin reached slightly further south of Middleburg and spent the night near White Sands Lake.
