8/4/14 Around 9:15 a.m., Charlie’s data transmission is picked up again near the southern shoreline. He then heads north briefly, then to the western shoreline to hunt for food and returns to the northwest trees on Winthrop from 10:45 – 11:15 a.m. He then makes another loop to the western and southern shorelines and returns to the northwest trees from noon – 12:45 p.m.

In the afternoon, he hunts along the western shoreline on two separate trips and returns to the northwest trees from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. and again from 3 – 3:30 p.m., then visits the nest briefly and returns to the northwest trees until 5 p.m. In the early evening, Charlie heads to the northern shoreline and returns to the northwest trees around 5:30 p.m. for the rest of the night.
