7/7/14 Edwin spends the early dawn hours at Oxoboxo Lake, then heads northwest and is at Gardner Lake from 5:45 – 10:30 a.m. He then begins a loop away from the area, beginning west towards Witch Meadow Pond near Route 11 in Salem, and then north to spend time at McDonald Pond in Colchester from 11:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. In the afternoon, he continues the loop northeast to the Yantic River in Lebanon and follows it east to the Fitchville Pond area of Bozrah, then at 3:15 p.m. follows Gardner Brook southwest back to Gardner Lake, where he remains from 3:45 – 8:15 p.m. Edwin then returns to the southeast edge of Oxoboxo Lake for the night.
