7/20/14 Charlie spends the early dawn hours in the trees northwest of the nest, then hunts for food along the nearby shoreline to the east, then heads to the southern shoreline before he visits the nest around 8 a.m. He then hunts offshore to the south, then heads to the shoreline northeast of the nest, before returning to his nightspot for a break from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. He spends the rest of the morning and early afternoon hunting all around the west end and returns to the northwest trees for another break from 2:15 – 4:30 p.m. In the late afternoon, Charlie visits the nest area briefly, then hunts along the northern and western shorelines, and then visits the nest again around 7 p.m. He then makes a final trip to the northern shoreline and west to Silver Eel Cove, then returns to his nightspot in the trees northwest of the nest by 8 p.m. for the night.
