7/12/14 After midnight Charlie returned to his nightspot in the trees northwest of the nest. In the early morning, he heads to the shoreline just southeast of the nest at the west end Transfer Station and back to the northwest trees before heading to the nest, and remains from 7:30 – 8:45 a.m. He spends the rest of the morning hunting for food along the southern and western shorelines and returns to the nest briefly in-between, then takes a break from hunting and remains in the nest area from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. In the afternoon, Charlie hunts for food along the southern and northern shorelines, and returns to the nest briefly in-between, then takes another break from 4:45 – 6:30 p.m. In the evening, he makes a final trip to the southern shoreline nearby the nest and returns, then around 9:15 p.m., heads back to his nightspot in the trees northwest of the nest.
