5/31/14 In the Early morning, Charlie heads to the southern shore of fishers Island to hunt for food before checking in at the nest and remaining nearby until 10 a.m. He then heads to Groton and the Thames River as far nor as Shaws Cove and returns to the Island and the nest at the west end Transfer Station by 11 a.m. From then until 1:30 p.m. he is nearby the nest or at one of his night spots in trees to the northwest.

In the early afternoon he makes a few trips to the east and south of the nest, but returning to spend time at the nest in-between until 3:30 p.m. He then spends the next couple hours mostly fishing along the southern shoreline and makes one trip to the northern shoreline returning to the nest in-between, but from 5:30-7:45 p.m. remains near the nest. In the early evening, Charlie makes one more trip to the southern and northern shore west of the nest and returns briefly, then heads to his favorite trees to the northwest from 8:45-10 p.m. but returns again to the nest and stays nearby for the night.
