6/8/14 Charlie spends the early morning fishing around the west end of Fishers Island and returning to the nest area. Around 10:45 a.m. he heads to the mainland and spends from 11-11:45 a.m. at Alewife Cove on the Waterford/New London border, then returns to the nest by noon. He spends the early afternoon near the nest and fishing along the northern and southern shoreline, then around 3:45 p.m. makes a second trip to the mainland.

From 4-5:45 p.m. Charlie fishes along the Thames River, reaching as far north as Mamacoke Cove near Conn College. He then returns to the nest on Fishers Island at 6:15 p.m. and remains until 9 p.m., and then heads to the northwest trees for the night.
