5/18/14 Edwin fishes at the Pohegnut and Groton Reservoirs in the very early morning, then around 7 a.m. heads west across the Thames River to the Niantic River and Latimer Brook, then heads north to fish at Lake Konomoc in Montville and Bogue Brook Reservoir from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. He then checks out the fishing at the scattered ponds to the northwest in Salemn: Beckwith Pond, Barnes Reservoir, Mill Pond, Fairy Lake, Mitchell Pond, before turning northeast past Oxoboxo Lake to reach Trading Cove and the Thames River around 2 p.m. Edwin continues east along Poquetanuck Cove, then Hallville Pond and Gates Pond and continue along Poquetanuck Brook as far east as the Avery Pond area of Preston, then turns southeast Rosemond Lake, Morgan Pond Reservoir and Ledyard Resevoir around 2 p.m., and eventually returning to the Pohegnut and Groton Reservoirs between 2:45-5:30 p.m. Edwin spends a second night in a row at the Pohegnut Reservoir.
