5/7/14 Edwin spends the early morning along the Niantic River and Latimer Brook, but then heads south and is at Plum Island by 9:30 a.m. Around 11 a.m., he heads further south to the west side of Gardiners Island. Around 12:30 p.m., he heads to the east side and Tobaccolot Pond and then back to Cherry Hill Pond area by 2:30 p.m. Around 4:30 p.m. Edwin returns to the mainland by way of Great Gull Island and the New London shoreline, then west to reach Latimer Brook before 6 p.m. By 8 p.m. he is at the Niantic River for the night.
