5/21/14 Edwin spends the early morning fishing at the Groton Reservoirs, then around 8 a.m. heads south to Pine Island, then north to the Flat Brook Watershed area just north of Latham Reservoir around 9:30 a.m. He then continues northeast towards Avery Pond in Preston and circles back along the Poquetanuck Brook to Poquetanuck Cove on the Thames River and then continues southwest to reach the Bartlett Cove area and Miller Pond and Lake Cuheca around 11 a.m. Around 1:45 pm. he continues west to Bogue Brook Reservoir and Beckwith Pond in Montville, then smaller Wagner Pond and Ed Bills Pond in Lyme around 2:30 p.m. to reach the Selden Neck Park area of the CT River after 3 p.m. He continues south along the river to Lord Cove and around 6 p.m. follows waterways east past Lake Konomoc in Montville and crosses the Thames River to reach Latham Reservoir before 7:30 p.m. Around 10 p.m. Edwin is back at Pohegnut Reservoir for the night.
