5/9/14 Charlie spends the early morning at the west end’s Tranfer Station nest, then heads to the mainland and reaches Keeny Cove area of the Niantic River before 7 a.m. and then returns to Fishers Island by 9 a.m. Just before noon, he heads out again and reaches Keeny Cove around 1:15 p.m. and returns to the Island by 2:30 p.m. Shortly after 3 p.m., Charlie heads out for a third trip to the mainland, this time heading up the Thames River to Fort Trumbull before heading west to reach Latimer Brook around 4 p.m. Around 6 p.m. he heads back to Fishers Island for the rest of the day.
