5/27/14 Around 5:45 a.m. Charlie heads to the southern shoreline, then turns north to the mainland and reaches some trees along Route 12 in Groton – north of the Gold Star Bridge by 7 a.m. He then returns to Fishers Island by 7:40 a.m. and spends the rest of the morning near the nest and fishing on the shoreline around the west end.

At noon, Charlie makes a second trip to the mainland by way of Pine Island, then heads to the Thames River reaching just bow the Gold Star Bridge, then turns east to Groton and circles back to Fishers Island by 1:15 p.m. He spends the rest of the afternoon and evening near the nest with just a couple of trips to the nearby shoreline to fish. Around 8:30 p.m. Charlie heads to his nearby nightspot to the northwest of the nest.
