5/21/14 Charlie spends the early morning fishing along the west end of Fishers Island, then just after 8 a.m. heads to the Thames River and reaches the Gold Star Bridge by 8:30 a.m. He then heads southwest to reach Jordan Cove in Waterford by 8:45 a.m. and then continues west to reach the Niantic River before 9 a.m. He spends about 45 minutes in the Keeny Cove area before returning to Fishers Island by 10:15 a.m. Charlie spends the rest of the morning and early afternoon on the west end of the Island.
May 21 ~ AM Mainland
Before 2:30 p.m. he makes a second trip to the mainland to fish. He heads up the Thames River and reaches the Gold Star Bridge around 2:40 p.m., then circles back through Groton to return to Fishers Island by 3:30 pm. Around 4 p.m. he makes a third trip to the Thames River, this time just below the Gold Star Bridge and circles back gain making a couple of stops in Groton on his way to the nest Fishers Island by 5:45 p.m. Charlie spends a few hours by the nest, making one more nearby fishing trip to the shoreline, then heads to his night spot northwest of the nest for the night.
