5/16/14 Around 5:45 a.m. Charlie leaves the nest area and reaches to Latimer Brook around 7 a.m.. He then fishes along the Kenny Cove area of the Niantic River and returns to Fishers Island by 10:30 a.m. He spends the rest of the morning and afternoon around the nest near the west end’s Transfer Station. Around 5:30 p.m. Charlie heads to Mumford Cove in Groton, then continues northwest to Smith Cove along the Thames River in Quaker Hill and returns to the nest on Fishers Island by 7:30 p.m. Around 8 p.m. he go to his night spot to the northwest of the nest.
