DESCRIPTION:Award winning science writer and author Ret Talbot will read from his book Chasing Shadows – Unraveling the Mysteries of the Great White Shark.\nChasing Shadows\, co-written with shark biologist Greg Skomal\, frames the return of the white shark to coastal New England waters as a conservation success story. Talbot will address the complex relationship between humans and sharks dating back thousands of years\, today’s challenging public safety issues\, and what may be on the horizon.
