Led by professional educators\, the children discover natural history through a combination of hands-on exploration\, observation\, and interpretation.\nWHEN: This summer the FIND program will take place during the afternoon in July. The dates are July 18 to July 22; Monday through Friday\, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. \nWHO: 20 children max\, all between the ages of 5 to 10. Attendees will be split into two groups\, one older and one younger. Each group will be led by two educators from the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center\, assisted at times by guest naturalists. \nWHERE: Location will vary based on the daily plan\, but will include Fishers Island’s beaches\, woods\, and bodies of water.
