In the afternoon, Charlie spent more time between the nest and southern shoreline and also visited Silver Eel Cove, then mid-afternoon, he made another trip to the mainland. He hunted for food along the Thames River, then stopped in Groton, before returning to the island to spend the rest of the afternoon near the nest. He spent the early evening at nest and nearby areas east, then made a trip west of the nest to Silver Eel Cove and back, before heading to the mainland for a third time. He hunted along the Thames River and returned to Fishers Island to spend the rest of the night at Hay Harbor.

Charlie Tracking May 29: 2 Trips to the Mainland ~ After a night at Hay Harbor, Charlie visited the nest before dawn and remained until daybreak, he then made multiple trips all around the west end to hunt for food and visited the nest in-between, before heading off-island.

Mid-morning, Charlie made a trip to the mainland and hunted for food along the Poquonnock River and the Thames River, then stopped for a break near the Gold Star Bridge. He returned to the nest on-island shortly after noon and made a brief trip to the southern shoreline and returned to the nest again. Mid afternoon, he did more hunting along the southern shoreline for the nest, then made a second trip to the Thames River and stopped again for a break near the Gold Star Bridge before returning to Fishers Island. He spent the evening between the nest, southern shoreline and Hay Harbor, then settled in some trees on Beach Ave, for the night.
