Edwin Tracking April 2, 2016: Long Island and Connecticut APRIL 2 ~ After a night near Tobaccolot Pond on Gardiners Island, Edwin made a loop to Long Island and back in the morning. While on Long Island, he visited the Springs East Harbor area and Napeague Bay, then returned to Gardiners Island mid-morning.
Edwin Tracking March 30-31, 2016: Gardiners Island, NY and CT MARCH 30 ~ After a night near Tobaccolot Pond on Gardiners Island, Edwin spent the morning and early afternoon between Gaylor Hole and Bostwick Creek, then headed north to Connecticut. March 28 ~ From Gardiners Island, NY to East Lyme, CT MARCH 28 ~ After two nights on Gardiners Island, Edwin spent the morning and much most of the afternoon between Gaylor Hole, mid-island and Bostwick Creek, along the north end. He then headed off island and returned to East Lyme Connecticut. Late
Edwin leaves Connecticut and heads south to Gardiners Island. MARCH 26 ~ Edwin headed west of Powers Lake early in the morning and visited the Eight Mile River and the Connecticut River. March 23 ~ New Jersey to Connecticut March 23 ~ After a night in New Jersey, Edwin continued his spring migration north and headed towards New York. He crossed the Hudson River in Manhattan around noon, and passed though Queens and Huntington, then turned north across Long Island Sound. In the early afternoon,
March 20-21 ~ After previously reaching Virginia on March 18, Edwin remained in the state and continued to visit southern waterways including Lazaretto Creek, before heading to the Richmond area on March 21.
