Edwin Tracking 2014, April 24 – Groton to Sixpenny Island

4/24/14    Edwin spends the early morning in the Latimer Brook and Niantic River area, then heads east across the Thames and is at Groton reservoir area by 8 a.m. He spends his time between the reservoirs and area of Avery point but then heads further east and reaches Noank, Beebe Cove and Sixpenny Island before

Edwin Tracking 2014, April 22 – Groton Reservoir – Avery Point

4/22/14    Edwin spends the early morning in the Latimer Brook and Niantic River area, then heads east and crosses the Thames River at Mamacoke Cove around 11 a.m. to reach the Groton Reservoir area before noon. He spends the afternoon between there and just south near Avery point but around 5 p.m. heads back west

Edwin Tracking 2014, April 20-21 – Latimer Brook and Niantic River

THE SKETCHBOOKS OF CHARLIE FERGUSON

In the full sweep of Fishers Island’s history, there is no artist more synonymous, more closely associated with Fishers Island than Charles B. “Charlie” Ferguson. The main show features images from two of Charlie's sketchbooks which functioned as illustrated diaries that were filled with daily activities, nature observations, personal notes, and lots of art—drawings, sketches, and watercolors—in various states of completion.
