COVID-19 UPDATE

Masks will be required within the Museum for all visitors excepting children two and under. Those fully vaccinated do not have to wear masks on the outside deck or outdoors anywhere on Museum property. Unvaccinated people must wear masks everywhere on Museum property, including the Land Trust Trails.

The Henry L. Ferguson Museum

The Museum hosts three main galleries that feature Fishers Island-related Archaeology (Prehistory), Natural History and History, as well as adjacent annual exhibition space and a reference library. In addition, the Museum holds and maintains a Land Trust with properties located on all sections of the Island.

YEAR ROUND: A CELEBRATION OF COMMUNITY

The main show chronicles many aspects of the Island’s year-round community with a focus on work, school activities, recreation, and annual events that help bring the Island together.
