July 27 ~ Edwin spent the morning and early afternoon at Hamburg Cove along the Connecticut River in Lyme.
Mid-afternoon, Edwin ventured out of the cove to nearby sections of the river, Lord Creek and North Cove. He returned to Hamburg Cove by early evening.
Edwin ventured out of Hamburg Cove again during the evening, but remained mostly at the confluence of Eight Mile River and the Connecticut River. By nightfall, he headed further into the cove along Eight Mile River for another night.

Edwin Tracking July 28, 2015.
July 28 ~ Edwin spent most of the morning in Hamburg Cove, then headed southwest across the Connecticut River to visit Mud River in Essex. He then returned to the Connecticut River at South Cove and crossed to Lord Creek on the east bank. Next, he continued south and visited rivers and creeks on his way to the mouth of the Connecticut River where he remained ’til mid-afternoon.
Late in the afternoon, Edwin crossed the Connecticut River to the Old Saybrook shoreline, then followed waterways north to the Mud River in Essex. In the evening, he returned to the upper section of Hamburg Cove to spend another night on Eight Mile River.
