September 1-2 Migration Update ~ Late in the afternoon on September 1st, Edwin had reached Neiba Bay on the southern shoreline of the Dominican Republic. He then followed the shoreline south, and in the early evening began his flight across the Caribbean Sea.
Approximately 20 hours later, on his 18th day of migration, Edwin entered La Guajira region of Colombia. He continue south until early evening, when he reached the town of Cerrito, and settled along Rio Rancheria (river) for the night.
