APRIL 1 ~ Edwin spent the early morning at Oxoboxo Lake in Montville, CT, where he had been for the last couple of nights. He then headed south to Latimer Brook in East Lyme and shortly after noon, continued further south to the shoreline, and left the mainland. He reached Gardiners Ilsand mid-afternoon and made multiple trips around the center of the island as well as Bostwick Creek and northern shoreline. By nightfall, he settled among trees just west of Tobaccolot Pond for the night.
