10th Annual Thanksgiving Trail Clearing & Oyster Gathering
(Plus “Oysters After” Party)
Friday, November 25, 2016
2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the Museum before proceeding to the Nature Trails.
Please bring tools you are capable of handling effectively and SAFELY.
We suggest you wear long pants, long sleeved shirts, socks and gloves to battle the thorns, ivy, and perhaps a tick or two.
BEACHES: Driven By Popular Demand
We will provide heavy-duty garbage bags for those preferring to clean rather than clear the trails and beaches.
“OYSTERS AFTER” PARTY: All trail blazers are invited immediately thereafter to a post-clearing party AT THE MUSEUM
From approximately 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Come enjoy Fishers Island oysters provided by the Fishers Island Oyster Farm, with Summer Shuckers and drinks provided by Bottlerocket.
